Anderson .Paak brought his ‘Oxnard’ tour to the Riv (pics, videos, setlist)

Anderson .Paak just recently began his tour supporting last year’s Oxnard, which was one of the best rap albums of 2018. We caught the show at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre on Saturday (2/16), which saw Paak playing a good chunk of the new album plus plenty of older songs including the NxWorries song “Suede” and his Kaytranada collaboration “Glowed Up.” Paak ended the show with “Dang!,” his collaboration with the late Mac Miller. Pictures are in the gallery above. Setlist and a couple videos below.

Singer, songwriter, and actress Tayla Parx, who has worked with Paak and also co-wrote Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” and “7 rings” and more, opened Saturday’s show.

Paak’s tour hits NYC on Friday (2/22) at Hammerstein Ballroom (sold out but resale tickets available), and he also plays Boston Calling, Forecastle, and FORM Arcosanti.
