Black Milk has a new EP, playing Subterranean on spring tour (dates, EP stream)
Detroit rapper // producer Black Milk is back with a follow-up to last year’s No Poison, No Paradise. It arrives in the form of the Glitches In The Break EP, which dropped digitally earlier this week and will be out physically on Record Store Day. At the start of the album’s second track “Dirt Bells,” an announcement boasts “is an introduction really necessary for someone we know so well?”. While that may be a let-me-beat-my-chest statement, he’s right and we’ve gotten another great effort from the MC. The EP features fellow-Detroit rappers Fat Ray and Guilty Simpson. You can take a listen to Glitches In The Break at the bottom of this post, and grab a copy via his bandcamp page.
Black Milk is headed down to Austin, TX for SXSW next week, and will also be doing some touring with his live band Nat Turner this spring. One of those live-band dates is a performance at Subterranean on April 26 with ILL Brown, Vic Spencer, Jon Content, and Bring The Noise Beat Battle. Tickets for the Chicago show go on sale this Friday (3/7) at 10AM CST.
