Conor Oberst brought his North American tour with Dawes in support of Upside Down Mountain through Chicago for a two-night stand at Metro on May 29 & 30. We caught the second of two sold-out shows, at which he played a fair amount of tunes from the new LP and also a handful of Bright Eyes favorites, like “We Are Nowhere and It’s Now,” “Bowl of Oranges,” and “Something Vague.” Tourmates Dawes got things started, and pictures from Metro are in this post.
