On Halloween night (10/31), Chicago received an evening with Drive-By Truckers at the Vic Theatre. The band—who were dressed as The Rolling Stones—played for about two and a half hours, ripping out “Where The Devil Don’t Stay,” “Carl Perkins’ Cadillac,” covers of the Stones’ “Honky Tonk Women” and “Wild Horses,” and many more. Blues legend, harmonica player, and Chicago resident James “Sugar Blue” Whiting also sat in on a few tunes. Were you there? If so, what did you think of the show? We’ve got pictures, the band’s complete setlist, and video footage of “Honky Tonk Women” in this post.
