thecontrollersphere EP is a collection of songs recorded during the False Priest sessions with Jon Brion at Ocean Way Studios. thecontrollersphere will be available on the following formats – CD, Digital, T-Shirt + MP3, and 180 gram black or limited bright blue vinyl + instant MP3. Baby blue vinyl limited to 1500 copies. They’ll kick off a spring tour with Painted Palms this Friday in Richmond, VA. The two groups will hit Chicago on May 5th to play the Vic. Tickets are still available.

David Barnes‘ first ever art book titled, What’s Weird?, is also being released on April 26th. Over the past decade, Barnes has developed a cult following drawing portraits of fans in his unique style and achieved widespread recognition for his work as art director for his brother Kevin’s band. Polyvinyl Records are offering a one-of-a-kind package: thecontrollersphere Blue 12″ + T-Shirt + What’s Weird? Book all for just $60.
