Bay Area math rockers A Minor Forest broke up in November of 1998, but the outfit have been remembered among peers like Slint, June of 44, and Three Mile Pilot. In December of 2013, AMF reunited with a show at San Francisco's Bottom of the Hill and have extensive plans for 2014. Thrill Jockey will reissue their first two albums -- Flemish Altruism (1996) and Inindependence (1998) -- as a 4-LP set for Record Store Day, with Flemish Altruism receiving a complete remaster and new artwork. The band will also be embarking on a spring US tour at the tail end of April. That tour includes a performance at the Empty Bottle on May 2 with Electric Hawk and Mako Sica. Tickets are on sale now.
