Massachusetts hardcore punks Converge have just announced a spring North American tour with Loma Prieta and Git Some (ex-Planes Mistaken For Stars) set for the month of April. A Chicago show, at Reggie's on the 8th of the month also featuring Weekend Nachos, falls smack in the middle of their current schedule. Ticketing info is forthcoming. As mentioned by BBG, the band are currently at work on a new LP at guitarist Kurt Ballou's own God City Studios.
In related news, Converge drummer Ben Koller will hit Chicago's Subterranean on March 21st as part of All Pigs Must Die, on tour with Narrows. Tickets are still available.
