Dan Deacon @ NXNE 2013 (more by David Andrako)
As seen on BrooklynVegan, multimedia artist Doug Aitken has unveiled some details for his new project, Station to Station: A Nomadic Happening. As its title suggests, STS is a traveling train tour. That tour will feature various kinds of art - music, culinary, literary, film - and a slew of contributors. Some of the musicians include Savages, David Longstreth of Dirty Projectors, Ariel Pink, Eleanor Friedberger, Dan Deacon, No Age, and more, with visual artists Kenneth Anger, Olaf Breuning, Peter Coffin, Urs Fischer, Meschac Gaba, Liz Glynn, Carsten Höller, Christian Jankowski, plus even more.
Station to Station includes a stop in Chicago on September 14. Ticketing information and more details on the Chicago "happening" are forthcoming.
