Flesh Wounds

North Carolina garage punks Flesh Wounds welcomed their new Bitter Boy 7" last month via local indie heavyweights Merge Records. It's a killer nab for Merge, who don't typically deal in snarling, harder-edged garage stompers, yet it's a nice change all the same. You can give the single's A-side "Bitter Boy" a spin at the bottom of this post. The tune is backed by both "Kennel Cough" and "Let Me Be Clear," and 7"s are available for purchase via Merge's webstore. You can also hear the full 7" via Merge Radio. In addition to "Bitter Boy," a stream of their 2014 self-titled 7" can also be found below.

Flesh Wounds will be embarking on a June US tour next week, which surrounds their appearance(s) at the 2014 Northside Music Festival. That tour includes a show at the Empty Bottle on June 19 with Mr. Elevator & the Brain Hotel. Advance tickets for the Chicago show are on sale now.

All Flesh Wounds dates and those song streams lie after the jump...
