‘Grateful Dead’ reuniting for 3 shows at Soldier Field, Trey Anastasio, Bruce Hornsby & Jeff Chimenti included

Surviving Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann will reunite to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary with three Chicago shows from July 3-5 at Soldier Field, the same venue their last show with Jerry Garcia took place. Joining them will be Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, Bruce Hornsby who performed with the Dead several times in the '80s and '90s, and Jeff Chimenti of Bob Weir's band RatDog. Bob Weir tells tells Billboard that these will be the last shows with the four Dead members together.

Tickets will be available to fan club members from February 9-11, a local public presale runs from Feb. 12-13, and the general on-sale begins Feb. 14. Tickets will surely sell right out, and then, well you may require a miracle.
