Lollapalooza act Interpol touched down in Chicago on Wednesday night (7/30) to play an official festival pre-show at the House of Blues with support from Strand of Oaks. Paul Banks and co. ran through fan-favorites like "Obstacle 1," "Evil," "Stella Was a Diver," and others, as well as "All the Rage Back Home," "Anywhere," and "My Desire" from their forthcoming LP El Pintor. Pictures and Interpol's complete setlist from the House of Blues are in this post.

As discussed, Interpol also play a free show at Thalia Hall TONIGHT (7/31). RSVP is now closed, but if you received a confirmation/ticket, we suggest showing up early.

Strand of Oaks will return to Chicago for a show at Schubas on August 17 (tickets) as part of their summer tour with Christopher Denny.

More pictures from the HoB show and Interpol's full setlist lie after the jump...
