Jar'd Loose @ Township in 2012 (more by Carmelo Espanola)

Chicago noiseniks Jar'd Loose are gearing up for the release of their second album, Turns 13, which is due out on May 27 via The Path Less Traveled/Threshold Of Pain. The LP serves as the follow-up to 2012's Goes to Purgatory and was produced by Pete Grossman (Weekend Nachos, Harm's Way, etc) and mastered by Today is the Day's Steve Austin. Today, they've shared Turns 13's sludgy lead single "Adult Prom" which is available to stream at the bottom of this post. The two-minute track packs a serious punch with sidewinding riffage and vocalist Eddie Gobbo's upfront and caustic delivery. Turns 13's cover art and tracklisting can also be found below.

Jar'd Loose have a pair of upcoming Midwest shows with Fuck The Facts (Oshkosh, WI & Minneapolis, MN) before they embark on an East Coast tour with fellow Chicagoans The Swan King in late-May. They don't currently have a hometown show to speak of, but stay tuned for more information.
