Korallreven
Korallreven (aka Marcus Joons and Daniel Tjäder [of The Radio Dept.]) released their debut LP, An Album by Korallreven, this past November via Acephale. The album features guest spots from Victoria Bergsman (Taken by Trees/The Concretes) and Julianna Barwick. Download MP3s of those collaborations over at BrooklynVegan.
Korallreven have announced their first US shows, which includes a March 6th performance at Lincoln Hall. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (1/20), at noon CST. Check out a tour flyer, below..

Jennifer O'Connor released a new LP titled, I Want What You Want, digitally on November 8, 2011 via her own Kiam Records. Select songs feature Tim Foljahn, who has his own LP, Songs For An Age of Extinction, coming out on March 6th via Kiam. The two will be touring together this spring, hitting Chicago's Panchos on March 20th. Advance Base, who played the Empty Bottle on Tuesday night (1/17), are also on the bill. Brad Oberhofer is set to release his debut LP, Time Capsules II, on March 27th via Glassnote Records. Download the album's lead single "HEART" and/or stream it below. Brad and band will head out on tour this February with Pond, reaching Lincoln Hall on March 27th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, at noon CST.

Rodrigo y Gabriela
Rodrigo y Gabriela will release their new LP, Area 52, on January 24th via ATO Records. The album is a collaboration with the 13-piece Cuban Orchestra C.U.B.A., with whom they'll be touring this spring. Rod y Gab and C.U.B.A. will reach The Chicago Theatre on April 12th. Tickets are on sale now.
School of Seven Bells @ Brilliant Corners
As mentioned, School of Seven Bells are set to release their new album, GHOSTORY, on February 28th via Vagrant Records. They'll play Lincoln Hall with support from Exitmusic on April 28th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, at noon CST.
