Shoegaze-y Chicago indie rockers Landmarks have been picking up steam since the release of last year's Cuscutta 7". You may have caught them opening for Crystal Stilts, Real Estate, or more recently San Fermin/The Luyas/Ryley Walker as part of TNK 2014. The quintet are currently putting the final touches on an EP, which was--like their debut 7"--recorded at Logan Square's The Public House and should be out later this year.
Landmarks also have some upcoming shows on the horizon. They'll first join Courtney Barnett at the Empty Bottle on February 18. Radar Eyes are also on the bill, and advance tickets are still available. We already told you about their show at the Double Door on March 1 with LA psych-rockers Dead Meadow (tickets), and they'll also be headlining Schubas on March 29 with support from J Fernandez (of Thin Hymns) and The Hecks. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
