Laurel Halo coming to Lincoln Hall w/ Ital
Laurel Halo at MoMA PS1 in 2011 (NYC) (more by Amanda Hatfield)
Brooklyn-based producer/genre-warping pop musician Laurel Halo and fellow Brooklynite Ital (aka Daniel Martin-McCormick of Mi Ami/Sex Worker) are heading out on tour together this fall. A full tour has yet to be revealed, but we do know that the two musicians will be visiting Lincoln Hall on September 30. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday (7/20) at noon CST (one opener TBA).
Halo released her fantastic new LP, Quarantine, last month via Hyperdub. As Andrew has gone into depth about, Quarantine showcases more or less a departure from her beatwork in favor of songs centered around her voice. You can stream the LP in its entirety at the bottom of this post.
All known Laurel Halo dates are listed below, along with a stream of Quarantine and some videos.
