Formed by Pat Campbell (ex-The Blamers), Colin Campbell (Whisker Music, Captain Captain), and Andrew Radlowski (ex-Black Math) in 2011, Le Tour are one of Chicago's newest bands to hit the DIY scene. The trio put a lo-fi spin on psych rock, paying tribute to the sounds and recording techniques of the late 80s. Above, we have two of the project's very different sounding songs available for download (you can stream them below as well). "The Darkness In Her Heart (Add It Up)" is a jangly pop song, complete with reverb-laden vocals and tambourine throughout. "Too Funny To Laugh" draws a direct comparison to the overall feel of Deerhunter's Halcyon Digest, creating a similar soundscape to the album track "Don't Cry."

Catch Le Tour opening up for Friend (not to be confused with Friends) TODAY at 4PM, at their Saki in-store. Le Tour will also play The Whistler on March 4th with Summer Girlfriends, where their first-ever tape will be available. Stay tuned for more live dates.
