Miguel performed on The Oscars, played Riviera Theatre w/SiR
Miguel appeared on the 2018 Oscars to perform the Best Original Song-winning "Remember Me" from Coco (which itself won Best Animated Feature). He was joined by Natalia LaFourcade and actor Gael García Bernal for the performance, which you can watch below. Speaking to E! News on the red carpet before the Oscars, Miguel said he was "honored" to be there. "For a movie like this, knowing that it’s representing the Latin population, and being of Mexican descent, it’s incredibly meaningful, man," he said. "So yes, I do know how much it means and I want to represent for all the Latinos out there. I really, really do. I’m honored."
On Monday (3/5), the next night, Miguel brought his tour with Sir and Nonchalant Savant (his brother) to Riviera Theatre. Opening with an impactful video about immigration rights, Miguel delivered a typically engaging performance, and you can check out pictures from it in the gallery above.
