Mount Eerie @ Inferno Festival 2012 (more by Fred Pessaro // BBG)

As seen on BrooklynVegan, Mount Eerie (aka Phil Elverum) is set to release his second album of 2012, Ocean Roar, on September 4 via his own P.W. Elverum and Sun label. You can stream the album's title track and another called "I Walked Home Beholding" at the bottom of this post. Ocean Roar's cover art and tracklist are also below.

Phil began a tour in support of the LP earlier this week. When that tour was announced, details on a Chicago show were TBA. We now know that he'll be playing the Co-Prosperity Sphere in Bridgeport on September 22, with Cains & Abels and Angel Olsen. Advance tickets to see that fantastic bill are on sale.

Chicago band Cains & Abels released their new album, My Life Is Easy, back in March via Whistler Records. Maybe you caught them at our and Saki's Record Store Day in-store marathon? They recently dropped a new video for the LP track "Money," which you can view below.

As mentioned, Angel Olsen's long-awaited second album, Half Way Home, is set to hit stores on September 4 via Bathetic. She plays a record release show that night at Reckless and is also slated to open for Dark Dark Dark at Schubas in October. UPDATE: Angel has also just shared the music video for a new track called "Acrobat," which you can check out below.
