Sailor Jerry's annual free Cobrafest is returning to Chicago's Cobra Lounge (235 N. Ashland Ave) this year from July 19-21, the same weekend that Pitchfork Festival goes down in Union Park.

This year's Cobrafest is being headlined by The Bronx on the Friday (7/19), along with sets from The People's Temple, Habibi, and Thing; by Growlers on the Saturday along with Denny & the Jets, Toxie, and "Special Guests"; and by King Dude on the Sunday along with White Mystery, Rainbow Gun Show, and Nones. In addition to the music, there will also be free Sailor Jerry tattoos. All shows start at 9 PM (set times TBA), are 21+, and totally free with RSVP.

In related news, Growlers are also going on the 'Burgerama Caravan of All-Stars' tour with Cosmonauts, Gap Dream, and Pangaea, which hits Chicago on September 28 at Subterranean. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
