
She Keeps Bees releasing new LP (stream a track), playing Beat Kitchen later this month

Bluesy Brooklyn duo She Keeps Bees are slated to welcome their new album, titled Eight Houses, on September 16 via Future Gods. The LP was produced by Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter, The War On Drugs, Dirty Projectors, etc.) and features backing vocals from their old pal Sharon Van Etten on "Owl" and "Is What It Is." You can check out the music video for the latter cut at the bottom of this post.
SKB will be embarking on a month-long US tour at the end of August. That run includes a show at Beat Kitchen on August 24 with support from Dial In. Advance tickets for the Chicago show are on sale now.
