Strand of Oaks (aka the project of singer-songwriter Timothy Showalter) welcomed their new album HEAL last week via their new label home of Dead Oceans. Showalter and co. are slated to embark on lengthy North American tour in late-July with support from Christopher Denny on most dates. That tour includes a show at Schubas on August 17, and advance tickets are on sale now. Strand of Oaks will also be opening Interpol's sold-out Lollapalooza aftershow at the House of Blues on July 30.
