take a listen to “Drag it Out” off of Earth Girls’ new EP, catch them at the Empty Bottle w/ Radioactivity next week

Chicago band Earth Girls are slated to release the follow-up to their self-titled demo cassette, dubbed the Wrong Side of History EP, next week via Grave Mistake // Drunken Sailor Records. The outfit pick up right where they left off with the demo, delivering a concise foursome of full-throttle bubblegum tunes. The EP's lead single "Drag it Out" makes its premiere in this post -- you'll find a stream after the jump. That's its cover art above, and tracklisting for the EP can also be found below.
Earth Girls have a handful of summer US tour dates ahead of them, including a few hometown shows. First up, they'll play the Empty Bottle on June 20 with Radioactivity, Bad Sports, and Negative Scanner (tickets). They'll also do Township on July 6 with Brooklyn's Night Birds (tickets), and Township again on July 27 as part of the solid local bill of Daylight Robbery, Endless Column, Split Feet, and Udusic (tickets).
