As discussed, The Orwells have been hard at work on a proper follow-up to 2012's Remember When. It's called Disgraceland, is due out on June 3 via Canvasback // Atlantic, and features tracks helmed by indie rock production gurus Chris Coady, Dave Sitek, and Jim Abbiss. The first taste of the LP is a much fuller, sludgy tune called "Let It Burn," with frontman Mario Cuomo coming off a bit like Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock. It arrives in the form of a tour footage music video, which you can check out at the bottom of this post.

The Orwells are currently on tour throughout the US with their Chicago buddies Twin Peaks (who will play the 2014 Pitchfork Music Festival). Their joint run will finish off with a sold-out hometown show at Lincoln Hall on April 1.
