The Velvet Teen prepping new LP, playing Sub-t on fall tour

Bay Area experimentalists The Velvet Teen welcomed their most recent material -- the No Star EP -- in November of 2010. They haven't released a full-length album since 2006's Cum Laude!, but are promising that its follow-up will be out this year (with artwork by Young & Sick). Stay tuned for more information on that.
TVT will be embarking on a September US tour. That tour includes a handful of shows with Foster the People, and the California crew will thankfully be headlining their own in Chicago at Subterranean on September 14. Bob Nanna and Lauren LoPiccolo's Jack & Ace project will act as main support and advance tickets are on sale now.
