The Who playing Allstate Arena on ‘Quadrophenia’ tour

The Who are getting ready to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their sixth studio album, Quadrophenia, in 2013 and will head out on a North American tour in November. That run, which will sadly only feature two band members who recorded the album (Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend), will make its way to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL for a show on November 29. Tickets go on sale next Friday (7/27) at 10AM CST, with an AmEx presale beginning on July 23 at 10AM.
The 1979 film adapation of Quadrophenia is receiving the deluxe DVD/Blu-Ray treatment from Criterion on August 28. The edition includes a newly-restored digital transfer of the uncut version, a new 5.1 surround mix, and a lot of other bonus features.
