Verma releasing ‘Sunrunner,’ playing Double Door & The Burlington (dates, new song stream)
Verma -- Sunrunner LP
Chicago psychedelic outfit Verma are slated to release their new album, Sunrunner, on May 27 via Trouble In Mind. The full-length LP serves as a proper followup to 2012's Exu, and you can take a listen to its lead single "Hologrammer" at the bottom of this post. It's an enveloping tune, complete with pulsating bass, wandering guitar leads, and syrupy organ bits. That's Sunrunner's cover art above and its tracklisting can be found alongside the song stream.
Verma will be embarking on a spring US tour in support of their forthcoming effort this weekend. That tour includes a pair of hometown shows: Double Door on May 1 as part of CIMM Fest (tickets) and The Burlington on May 11 with labelmate Doug Tuttle. The Burlington show will run you $7 at the door.
