Wedding Dress announce debut LP ‘Desperate Glow,’ opening for Owl John at Bottom Lounge

Chicago outfit Wedding Dress -- featuring Erin Elders (Maps & Atlases), Mike Russell & Matt Lemke (Suns), Bobby Burg (Love of Everything, Joan of Arc, etc.), and Christian Dawson (ex-Gypsyblood) -- have announced that they'll be releasing their debut LP called Desperate Glow on November 18 via Lovitt Records. The LP follows their great Loom 7" for Lovitt, and you can take a listen to its lead single "Somewhere Darker" at the bottom of this post.

Wedding Dress will also be opening for Owl John (aka Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison) at the Bottom Lounge on Wednesday, October 15. Advance tickets for the Chicago show are still available.
