Lambchop/Silver Jews axeman William Tyler welcomed his second solo effort, Impossible Truth, earlier this year via new home Merge Records. It's a gorgeous solo guitar album, and if you haven't heard it yet, the LP is available to stream at the bottom of this post. Tyler recently recorded live sessions for Austin's KUTX and WYNC's Soundcheck, performing Impossible Truth's "A Portrait of Sarah" and "The Geography of Nowhere" respectively, and the great footage from those can also be found below.

Tyler is currently en-route to Europe for a string of fall tour dates. He'll return stateside in October for some more touring, which includes a performance at Constellation on November 23 with support from Steve Gunn. Tickets for the Chicago show are on sale now.
