Wrigley Field has become an ice rink…
Maybe Wrigley Field should be called the Slippery Confines.
The Chicago Cubs are announcing that they are opening an ice skating rink at Wrigley as well as a 30-foot holiday tree to help Chicagoans celebrate the holiday season.
The full-size skating rink will be set up in the Cubs parking lot at the corner of Clark Street and Waveland Avenue, and open from now (11/27) until Feb. 26.
The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children on Monday through Thursday and $10 for adults and $6 for children on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Season passes are also available and there will be skate rentals. [Chicago Tribune]
