Earlier this week, Xiu Xiu delivered NINA, an LP of Nina Simone covers, via Graveface Records. Take a listen to Jamie Stewart's versions of "Don't Smoke In Bed," "Just Say I Love Him," and more at the bottom of this post. Xiu Xiu are also slated to release a new full-length, titled Angel Guts: Red Classroom, in February via Polyvinyl. Get a feel for the LP by checking out its lead single "Stupid In The Dark" below.
Xiu Xiu will be heading out on a North American tour after their new album arrives. That tour includes a performance at Schubas on March 7. Tickets for the Chicago show go on sale this Friday (12/6) at noon CST.
